JOB DESCRIPTION

Welcome to The Fiddler Hotel, a premier hospitality venue in Sydney and the Home of Celebrations. 

 

We are seeking a Duty Manager to join our operations with previous experience for a mid to large hotel and understanding of relevant liquor and gaming legislation. 

 

Bar and Restaurant Managers looking to step up are encouraged to apply.

 


RECOMMENDED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Duty Manager
General Manager
Restaurant Manager

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 1 year previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

Working closely with the General Manager, responsibilities will include:

 

  • Providing high quality customer service to our customers

  • Managing the day to day venue operations

  • Leading our front of house team during peak trade times including Friday and Saturday nights

  • Maintain a safe and comfortable atmosphere in our venue

  • Daily cash and gaming reconciliation

 

You will have:

 

  • Previous experience successfully managing a hospitality venue of a similar size and nature

  • Detailed knowledge of Liquor and Gaming legislation

  • Passion and drive to exceed customer expectations

  • Experience working under pressure in a high pace environment

  • Current RSA and RCG certifications and police check

  • Flexibility and available to work across 7-days, rotating roster including weekends, late nights and public holidays.
